Check out the RadioActive Podcasts Shows. They each have a host of great features including brand new unsigned but defined music, boys v’s girls in ‘Battle of the Sexes’ and some useful health advice. The podcast is presented and produced by local young people.
The latest show from RadioActive features great music from popular local band The Favours as they embark on releases their first single. There are more fun features with Battle of the Sexes and Top 3’s and some excellent advice on staying safe on a night out and the dangers of alcohol, including an interview with Chief Superintendent Sean White.
Another half hour show from RadioActive, with great music from top local band The Dirty Dreamers. There are more fun features with Battle of the Sexes and Top 3’s and some excellent sexual health advice and information from Uncle Jem.
With a World cup theme, the boys v girls in a penalty shot out at KC Stadium in ‘Battle of the Sexes’. Some great advice about being healthy, including an interview with Jo Granger, an Active Lifestyle Advisor- and music from a local punk funk girl band.

A Podcast is an MP3 audio file that will let you listen and subscribe to a show– this means that the new episodes will automatically download to your computer whenever it is produced. It is all free! Podcasting is a way that RadioActive can automatically send great radio shows to your computer so that you can listen to it at a time that suits you.

You do not have to own an mp3 player unless you want to listen to it on the move. If you do, then it can be any brand (e.g. Iriver, ipod, Sony).
1. Once you have downloaded one of the free pieces of software you are ready.
2. If you have downloaded (or use) Itunes, you can simply click the Itunes one click subscription (or logo) at the top of the page and that will launch itunes and subscribe you to the podcast.
3. Alternatively you can copy and paste the RSS Feed address into your podcast software.
4. Your podcast software will give you the option to check for new podcasts automatically or choose how often to check for updates. Your software will then automatically download any new shows as soon as they are available.
5. Once downloaded you can listen to it on your pc or transfer it to your Mp3 player.
